Ecossaisen, B406

Dvorak’s intention to compose the series of piano pieces Ecossaisen merely remained as a sketch dated 7 May 1880. A fragment of it was later used for the fourth part of the cycle Mazurkas, Op. 56 (which ultimately, however, did not make it into the final version of the cycle).
